Treating Our Veterans

Bringing quality community care to our veterans is a great honor of Corner Acupuncture. Dr. Kathy's father served in WWII as a medic. His PTSD was apparent and not yet named. He would call it Shell Shock, and that description never left Dr. Kathy's mind. 
PTSD can be a cause of pain that is difficult for our Western MD's to treat as there really is nothing in their medicine which will work. TCM and acupuncture can be a unique service here. While treating Veterans, Dr. Kathy has recieved more smiles and positive response that she could imagine getting. Acupuncture is particulary helpful with our Veterans and can be a serious treatment for all body pain and PTSD.
This has been discovered by the Veteran's Administration. They have become an ally with acupuncturists all over the country, due to research that has been ongoing since then President Nixon encouraged our country to bring the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine to our County. In 2020 the status of an Acupuncture Physician was raised to GS-45 the same as any other Primary Care Physician in the Veterans Administration Health Care programs, Community Care Network of Providers an in our Veterans Hospitals.
Allow acupuncture to work for you. Mention it to your primary care provider. 12 visits are protocol for pain patients with reauthorization available when needed through the Veterans Administration Hospital Acupuncture Clinic, or through a VA CCN provider like Dr. Kathy.
